  • It is our privilege to prepare professionals who are committed in their careers to influencing lives. Ours is a program known for excellence in that preparation.
  • Olivet Nazarene University is accredited under the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) Standards through the CAEP Accreditation System, for a period of six years, from 2012 to 2018. Olivet also holds the accreditation and approval of the nation’s top associations, including the Higher Learning Commission. We continue to update our existing programs to meet and exceed the Illinois State Board of Education standards.

Education students at Olivet are called to teach. But we believe they are called to become something more. Here, students are challenged academically, but they are challenged spiritually as well. Each day they integrate their faith with learning, preparing to one day enter their own classrooms as Christ-like examples and role models.

We would enjoy telling you more. Please feel free to call or email, or even better, schedule a visit.

    Dean, School of Education
