"Winning Championships - Developing Champions" is what it is all about in the Department of Athletics at Olivet Nazarene University, and few programs in the country can boast of winning championships like the ONU softball program. The Tigers have amassed seven CCAC Regular Season Championships and eight CCAC Tournament Championships since 1997.
They have also won five NAIA Region VII Championships and have made five appearances at the NAIA World Series during that same time period. Tiger softball teams have also earned season-ending NAIA National Rankings of 11th in 1997, 16th in 1998, 7th in 1999, 10th in 2000, 15th in 2002, 9th in 2003, 15th in 2004 and 10th in 2008.
In the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) the Tigers have won nine North Central Region Championships and were crowned NCCAA National Champions in 1996, 1997, 2000, 2006 and 2008.
Tiger softball players have been named to the All-CCAC team 55 times since 1995. Tiger players have been named to either the NAIA, NCCAA or National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American team 58 times and Tiger players have achieved scholar-athlete recognition 82 times.
