Housing

Residence Halls

Olivet Nazarene University offers seven traditional residence halls and several apartment-style locations for on-campus living. We believe that the community living experience on our campus is a critical part of the university experience.

Each campus housing area is overseen by a resident director. Resident directors serve in the capacity of mentor, guide, mediator and friend. The resident director position is a well-respected position on campus as each resident director seeks to build solid relationships with their residents. It is each resident director’s hope that they can assist each student with their university experience.

Alongside the resident director are resident assistants. Resident assistants are upperclassmen selected to serve in each area of campus housing. Resident assistants are interviewed and selected for the upcoming year by the residential life staff.

Resident assistants are available to assist students in acclimating to college life. Relationship building, conflict resolution, activity planning, and spiritual leadership are some of the many ways resident assistants seek to build community among the residents in their areas.
