Keri Langan

Keri joined the Human Resources team in January 2015 as Administrative Assistant. She served in that role until June 2020, when she became the Director of Student Employment. In August 2022, she added the role of Human Resources Administrative Assistant to her title. She enjoys the opportunity to interact with both our students and employees.

In her Student Employment role, she assists departments in posting campus positions and onboarding student employees. One aspect of Student Employment that excites her is the annual Student Employee and Student Employee Supervisor of the Year. Each year, students can nominate their supervisor for Supervisor of the Year and supervisors can nominate their student employees for Student Employee of the Year. All nominations are judged by coworkers across campus, and they are surprised with a certificate, a treat, and recognition in the Olivet News.

As Human Resources Administrative Assistant, she enjoys the camaraderie of the HR team, as well as the connections she has made across campus, the opportunity to assist in planning and executing multiple events with the office or other departments on campus, as well as being on a team that serves the Olivet community.

Her favorite aspect of being an ONU employee is the freedom to speak of her faith and openly pray.

Keri is married to her husband, Shawn. They have 2 adult sons, Ethan (’22) and AJ. She thoroughly enjoys family time, hiking, glamping, and traveling.
