Katie Wraczewska joined Olivet’s faculty in 2018 and enjoys teaching wheel throwing and hand building in ceramics, printmaking, and art history. After obtaining her Associates degree at Moraine Valley Community College, Professor Wraczewska transferred to Governors State University where she received both her Bachelors in Psychology and her Masters in Art with a concentration in ceramics. Katie’s favorite medium is ceramics where her use of form, texture and functionality play to elicit visceral responses and memories for her audiences.
Outside of teaching and creating art, Katie likes traveling the country, visiting art expos and conference, kayaking and learning new languages.
