Illinois’ Leader in Reading Specialists
Olivet’s School of Education produces the most Reading Specialists in Illinois each year. Become a Reading Specialist as a part of the MAE, or as a stand-alone endorsement.
As a full-time professor, it gives me great pleasure in working with dedicated practitioners who are committed to improving literacy achievement. Sharing educational methodologies and best practice enables me to grow as an educator. Although I am an instructor of a myriad of courses, the teaching and learning is reciprocal as I am always learning from candidates as well.
Professional Development
Equipped and engaged employees who work effectively on teams make the largest impact on organizations. Olivet partners with individuals and teams seeking to develop their skills and knowledge by providing workshops, assessments, online courses, mini-MBA programs, career training programs, and global learning opportunities.
Individual Courses
Gain knowledge while earning academic credit by taking individual online courses. Courses are offered throughout the year at the bachelor and master level. As a student enrolled in an individual course, you will receive the benefits from being an Olivet student.
Individual courses are offered to non-degree seeking students who have not been formally admitted to a program of study. Non-degree seeking students may take up to 9 credit hours in the form of a Certificate or degree program. There is no limit to the number of general education courses and electives they may take. To continue in a degree program, they will need to apply for full admission to the program.
Success Beyond Degree
Earning your advanced degree is a journey that begins with a single step. We believe higher education has a higher purpose. Start your journey at Olivet Nazarene University.
