Career outcomes for Olivet Nazarene University’s Class of 2017 are already exceeding expectations as well as outcomes reported by other universities and colleges. Based on information from 96 percent of Olivet graduates, 94 percent are employed (full time or part time), serving in the military or missions, or in graduate school.
This exceeds the career outcomes for Olivet’s Class of 2016 by 2 percent.
Several of the University’s most popular majors — biology, marketing, accounting, elementary education — report 100 percent career outcome rates.
At the top were Olivet’s Department of Biological Sciences and School of Education, both reporting a career outcome rate of 100 percent; McGraw School of Business with 97.8 percent: Department of Behavioral Sciences with 96.4 percent; Department of Mathematics with 95.7 percent; Department of Communication with 95.5 percent.
“These results underscore the commitment of Olivet and its students to academic excellence and career preparation,” says Poppy Miller ’09, associate director of the Office of Career Services.
