When it comes to convenience for our students, Olivet Nazarene University is always on the lookout for the best services. Two outstanding vendors are now present on the main campus in Bourbonnais, Illinois: Amazon and Zagster.
Amazon Locker — a large yellow box located between Centennial Chapel and College Church — is a self-delivery location for picking up and returning Amazon.com packages. Instead of delivering a package to a person’s home or business, Amazon delivers to this location. Recipients receive an email notification of delivery with a unique code, and then can pick up packages at a time convenient for them.
This service adds a new level of convenience for students who need packages delivered to them on the weekends, when the University mail center is closed. Note: All packages delivered to Amazon Locker must be picked up within three days.
Amazon reportedly ships an average of 3 million packages daily. “The Amazon Locker is a really convenient way of receiving my orders,” says Student Body President Tommy Lambrecht, a senior majoring in youth ministry. “The locker is quick and easy to use. I appreciate having this service close by.”

Zagster Bike Share has come to Kankakee County, and Olivet hosts a Bike 609 station — sponsored by Presence St. Mary’s Hospital — on the west side of the parking lot behind Reed Hall of Science. This is one of seven station locations in the area.
Zagster is the U.S. market leader in bike sharing, operating 200-plus programs in 35 states that make bikes available to more than 6.5 million people every day.
“We appreciate this partnership with Presence St. Mary’s to provide convenient bike access for our students, faculty and staff,” says Dr. Woody Webb, vice president for student development. “The annual membership option is a great way to enjoy access to the bikes at a low cost.”
