Tiger football update
The 2018 NCCAA Victory Bowl™ will feature the Olivet Nazarene University (ONU) Tigers and the Ottawa University Arizona (OUAZ) Spirit. The game will be played at Spirit Field on OUAZ’s campus in Surprise, Arizona. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Mountain Time) on Friday, Nov. 30.
This marks the fourth appearance for the Tigers, who are 5-5 on the 2018 season under the leadership of Head Coach Eric Hehman. The Tigers won all three previous appearances (1997, 2004, 2005). The Spirit will be making their first appearance in the Victory Bowl and enter the game with a 6-3 record.
All student-athletes and coaches will also participate in a Christian Service Project and serve the local community. Specific details will be released soon.
The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) strives to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ through its 24 National Championships and two National Invitationals.
Tiger men’s soccer update
As a 2018 co-champion of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC), Olivet Nazarene University Tiger men’s soccer earned an automatic bid to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Tournament. The team returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 17, in the Tournament’s Opening Round.
Under the leadership of Kenny Huber ’10/’14 M.O.L. in his inaugural season as head coach, the team ended the 2018 season with a 10-1 conference record and 15-4 record overall.
