‘Day by Day’ Olivet Prepares for Spring Musical

Olivet Nazarene University’s Department of Theatre and the School of Music invite you to watch and listen with a fresh sense of wonder and innocence as they proudly present “Godspell.”

As one of the most popular modern musicals, the show features contemporary retellings of many of Christ’s parables that will leave audiences entertained and profoundly inspired. 

Show times are Thursday, Feb. 27, 7 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 28, 7 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 29, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The following is the cast list for this production:
Emily (Yantes) Adams – a senior vocal performance major with a musical theatre minor
Hannah Ahrens – a junior Christian education major 
Noah Campbell-White – a junior music performance major
Westin Edwards – a senior psychology and communication major
Teron Fairchild – a freshman marketing major mwith a corporate relations concentration 
Aaron Newsome – a senior multimedia communication major with a leadership studies minor
Benjamin Moore – a marketing major and music minor
Mollie Peery – a freshman multimedia communications major with an emphasis in film studies and a musical theater minor
Victoria Volante – a senior communication studies major with a theatre concentration and a music minor
Ashtyn Williams – a junior music major with a musical theatre minor

“Godspell” is directed by theatre director Jerry Cohagan, conducted by Dr. Neal Woodruff and choreographed by senior Jackson Thornhill. 

Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for students and senior adults over the age of 65. Tickets are available online at olivet.edu/tickets or by calling 815-939-5110.

Hannah Priest ’21/’22 MBA is passionate about people and sharing their stories. After graduating from Olivet with a degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, she has found much joy in serving as the associate director of Alumni and University Relations at Olivet and a freelance writer.
