Olivet Nazarene University’s McGraw School of Business Entrepreneurship program announces upcoming events and updates to assist current and future business owners in living out their dreams. ONU business students are working hard to provide creative, helpful ideas and resources during the coming year.
“Creating a World of Opportunities” (CEO) chapter has launched at ONU. This organization is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and leadership among students. ONU Business Administration major Faith Markley, founder of Daisy Hill Fragrances, has earned a coveted spot among the top 100 contestants in the honored global CEO pitch contest.
Createur Podcast is set to launch on October 20, 2023. This dynamic podcast is hosted by Spencer James, ONU undergraduate student majoring in Marketing Management and Business Administration, and graduate assistant Karli Byrd ’23. “Listeners will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in captivating success stories from entrepreneurs,” said Spencer James. “They will also gain practical strategies for business growth and discover spiritual guidance to fuel their journey.”
A launch ceremony and party for this new podcast will take place at noon on October 19, 2023, at the Hammes Bookstore on campus, and all are invited to attend. The event will also celebrate ONU students who are partnering with Hammes Bookstore to vend their unique products on campus. To register for this launch event, click here.
The 2024 Createur Conference — the premier gathering for innovators, entrepreneurs and visionaries — announces its impressive lineup of keynote speakers for the upcoming event scheduled April 15−16, 2024. Anne Beiler, the founder of Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, will be sharing her remarkable story. Attendees will also hear from Brett Hagler, CEO of New Story, and Justin Donald, founder of Lifestyle Investor.
“I just have one word about The Createur Conference: WOW!” said 2023 conference attendee Cassidy Freeman ’23. “As a budding professional, I was afforded the invaluable opportunity to acquire knowledge, foster personal growth, engage in critical thinking, establish meaningful connections, and inch closer to becoming the professional I aspire to become.”
The Createur Conference also encourages students to debut their own creative and original products.
