Winners have been announced in the 39th Annual Educational Advertising Awards, and Olivet Nazarene University has earned the GOLD award for the university publication, Olivet The Magazine.
The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country, and for 2024, the organization received more than 2,000 entries from colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and numerous foreign countries.
The award recognizes specifically the Olivet The Magazine, Strength & Hope issue from Autumn 2023. Highlighting the University’s $64 million comprehensive campaign to support and strengthen the mission of Olivet, the award-winning issue also features “Portraits of Strength & Hope,” a new, ongoing series in the quarterly publication.
Designed collaboratively within the ONU Office of Marketing Communications under the direction of the Office of Institutional Advancement and a creative and design team that includes the alumni-led 989Group and more than 25 faculty, staff and student contributors, Olivet The Magazine reaches an annual audience of more than 200,000.
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals.
Olivet The Magazine is printed in coordination with Royle Printing in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council chain-of-custody standard, an organization dedicated to responsible forest management.
