Curriculum Highlights

Students get to study contemporary politics from a Christian perspective, as well as the classic texts and contemporary trends in American government, international relations and political theory.

By examining the structure and workings of the U.S. government, students analyze politics and policies from both national and global perspectives, while considering the impact of the philosophies and wisdom of past U.S. presidents. Students learn about the politics and governments of other countries as well.

Field Experience

Students prepare for careers ranging from working on Capitol Hill, to teaching and practicing law. They also have the opportunities to participate in active clubs and study in Washington, D.C., all while being challenged to dig deeply into how their faith can shape their political activity.
