Biblical Studies

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or minor in Biblical Studies provides students the opportunity to study the literary, historical and theological dimensions of the text.

Methodologies, both past and present, are introduced and utilized in order to help students comprehend the Bible’s message in its original cultural setting and to consider its implications for a contemporary audience.

The B.A. in Biblical Studies provides the academic foundation and theological training for students seeking to serve in a local church or parachurch ministry, continue ministry preparation at a graduate or seminary level, or acquire advanced training in preparation for a teaching and/or research career.

Serving the Church

Students are encouraged to choose a local church in which to serve while pursuing their degree.
