Professor Freeman joined the Olivet faculty in 2019, bringing over seven years of teaching experience. Before moving back to Bourbonnais in 2018, Christina taught physical education and math intervention at Minooka Intermediate School in Minooka, IL.

In addition to her teaching duties at Olivet, she serves as an assistant coach for the ONU women’s basketball team. She is also a member of the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE America) and the Illinois Alliance for Physical Education, Health, Recreation, and Dance.

Professor Freeman and her husband Zach '02, have two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing basketball, hiking and cheering on her boys as they participate in sports.

Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
