Deb is a Registered Professional Nurse with experience in direct patient care and management.  Deb’s areas of expertise include:  surgery, outpatient surgery, immediate care center, medical/surgical unit, emergency department, flight nursing, and clinical nurse educator.  Her management experience includes:  charge nurse, clinical nurse manager, nursing supervision, and nurse manager.  Prior to working for Olivet, Deb’s teaching background included in-service training, coaching, mentoring, and educational program development in acute care settings. Starting in 2014, Deb has worked as Adjunct faculty in the ABSN program as lab instructor for health assessment, capstone and as a clinical instructor. Since 2019, Deb has been the Level 4 Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Nursing teaching online for Adult Health Nursing 3 and Capstone courses.
