Diane Stedman Conrad has been teaching music in K-12 and higher education since 1996. Ms. Stedman started her career teaching 5-12 Instrumental Music (band) at a rural Illinois school district. After earning a master’s degree in music education from DePaul University, Ms. Stedman was a lecturer in the music education program there. She is the Music Specialist for the St. George Elementary School District #258, a position she has held since 2009, where she teaches K-4 General Music and 5-8 Instrumental Music (Band). Ms. Stedman is also and adjunct professor at Governors State University, where she teaches Arts Integration for the Elementary Educator. She performs regularly on horn with the River Valley Wind Ensemble and the Kankakee Municipal Band. Ms. Stedman is a member of the Illinois Music Educators Association.
