Professor Nielsen joined Olivet’s full-time faculty in 2016, teaching courses in finance, accounting and statistics. His area of specialty is finance, specifically financial markets and related research. His professional experience includes business management in the restaurant industry.
Reading is one of his favorite leisure activities, along with golf, exercising and spending time with his children. He is married to Katherine, who is an adjunct faculty member in Olivet’s School of Music, and they are the parents of two children, Charlotte and Joseph.
