Dr. Thomas began his full-time faculty position at Olivet in 2011. Being a professor at his alma mater is a dream come true for him. He has a passion for teaching and learning and is known to his students as “Prof T”.
His 25-year career in information technology has included working with Fortune 500 companies, school districts and ONU. He started at ONU in 2002 as network manager in the Department of Information Technology.
Dr. Thomas coordinates the Management Information Systems degree program and leads the Certiport Authorized Testing Center at ONU. His research interests include faith integration, professional certifications and business technology.
He is an active citizen in the community with a passion for volunteerism. Thomas is a Bourbonnais Police Commissioner and a member of the Hundred Club of Kankakee County.
