Gino Espano

Gino began working as proctor specialist for the accelerated nursing program in 2015 after relocating from California. Over the years, he has also played an important role in the MSN/FNP program’s testing processes. Gino loves the teamwork in the nursing program and shows a genuine interest in student success.

He hails from the Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in English and post-graduate studies from the Asian Institute of Journalism. Gino previously worked for various daily newspapers in Manila as a photojournalist before moving to Los Angeles, tackling various jobs in Hollywood’s professional photo industry.

Gino is married and is the father of an only child, a daughter whom he teasingly calls his “favorite daughter.” In October 2023, he became a grandpa to a bouncing baby, Olivia. The beauty of the four seasons never cease to amaze him, describing the colors and patterns as God’s splendor on display. He lives in Bartlett and loves to travel with his wife.
