Laurie holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership. She started her career in education as a fifth grade teacher in 1999. Since then, Laurie has served as an elementary school teacher and principal in California, Kansas, and Illinois, following wherever God led her and her family. She started teaching at the university level in 2014, and joined Olivet as an adjunct faculty member in 2015.
