Leap Year 2024 grants Olivet Nazarene University an additional day to express profound gratitude to its supporters.
“To mark this special day, the entire campus is joining together to recognize the prayers, advocacy, and financial support received by those who are truly invested in Olivet’s future,” said Dr. Brian Allen, Vice President for Institutional Advancement.
The inspiration behind this initiative came from Erika Moeschke, Senior Director of Alumni Relations and University Advancement, who noted, “Austin Brown, Director of The Olivet Fund, is always imagining new ways to bring our supporters closer to the campus, showing them the impact their investment has made. This year, we have an entire extra day to do just that!”
This extra day to thank our community serves as a token of Olivet Nazarene University’s appreciation for the unwavering support it receives. It is a day filled with heartfelt gestures and expressions of gratitude, aimed at acknowledging the significant role donors play in fueling the mission of Olivet. From scholarships to research endeavors and campus enhancements, the impact of donor contributions is evident and transformative.
Throughout the day, students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to express gratitude to donors. This celebration not only commemorates past contributions but also aims to inspire continued generosity, fostering a culture of giving back and supporting an “Education With a Christian Purpose” for years to come.
As Olivet Nazarene University embraces “An Extra Day to Thank YOU ” on this leap day, it underscores the profound impact of philanthropy and the importance of nurturing relationships with its supporters. Through unity and gratitude, the campus community comes together to honor those who have made significant contributions to the University’s growth and success.
