DES MOINES, Iowa – The Olivet Nazarene University men’s and women’s track & field team had a huge weekend on the Blue Oval as Hannah Antkoviak and the ONU men’s 4×200-meter relay emerged as champions at the 114th Drake Relays this weekend at Drake Stadium.
Antkoviak, the defending NAIA national champion in the 400-meter hurdles, ripped off a 56.20 to win the event at the Drake Relays. This is the top time in the NAIA this season and the eight-fastest time among all collegiate divisions. Antkoviak’s time also notched the automatic qualifying time for the upcoming USATF National Championships this summer.
The ONU men’s 4×200-meter relay were also victorious at the Drake Relays. The quartet of Joseph Randolph, Eric White, Conner Betts, and Vince Giuliano bolted to a time of 1:24.77 to best the field by nearly an entire second and win the event.
