The greater Olivet Nazarene University community showed up in a powerful way for its 9th annual Day of Giving on April 16, 2025. Together, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends helped the Christian university exceed its ambitious goal—raising nearly $570,000 from more than 2,200 donors in just 24 hours.

This year’s theme, All In. All Together., was more than a motto—it captured the passion, spirit, and generosity that define the Olivet experience and its commitment to faith-based education. Day of Giving generated support for over 60 campus initiatives, including academic programs, athletic development, student life enhancements, mission opportunities, and the first-ever student-voted project.

Organized by the Office of Development—which oversees Olivet’s annual giving program, the Olivet Fund—this special event was a powerful demonstration of what’s possible when the entire Olivet Nazarene University community rallies around a shared purpose: empowering students to thrive on campus, contribute to their communities, and live lives of service to God and humanity.

Record-Breaking Support for Student Success

This year marked the most successful Day of Giving in Olivet’s history, surpassing previous records for both dollars raised and number of donors in a single day.

“Our goal each year is to intentionally and creatively support the people and programs that make Olivet special. The results we saw this year are a direct reflection of the testimonies of those who understand and believe in our mission,” said Austin Brown ’19, Director of the Olivet Fund. “This event wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our project leaders, campus and community advocates, and our Day of Giving Champions.”

Ten of the 60 projects received full funding. These gifts will help purchase new equipment for Baseball, Computer Science, Nursing, Women’s Basketball, and Women’s Soccer. They will also support unique travel opportunities for the Hockey and Men’s Basketball teams and continue to enhance prospective students’ experiences at Purple and Gold Days, Olivet’s flagship campus visit events.

Thank you to all Olivet alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends for your generosity, prayers, and support. Incredible things happen when we go All In. All Together. to support our students and strengthen faith-based education at Olivet Nazarene University.
