Olivet Nazarene University’s radio station Spark HD has been named a finalist for 2023 Station of the Year by CMB (Christian Music Broadcasters). This is the first year CMB has included a category specifically recognizing university-affiliated radio stations. As a ministry of Olivet, Spark HD is committed to “music for generation now.”
CMB recognizes stations for dedication to serving their communities and for their commitment to excellence.
Spark HD, available at Sparkhd.FM, 89.7 HD3 in Bourbonnais and beyond, and streaming on the app, is part of the greater Shine.FM network of stations from Olivet Nazarene University. Along with the flagship Shine.FM and Spanish programming-centered Brilla.FM, the ONU network of radio stations reaches nearly a million listeners each week. Brian McIntyre Utter gives leadership to the entire Olivet Media Group, and oversees the entire network of stations.
Winners of the award will be announced on June 2, during the annual CMB Awards.
