Women's Bible Study group.

For the third year in a row, Olivet Nazarene University’s First Lady, Tammy (Slayer) Chenoweth ’89, is opening her home to 60 graduating senior women for a special four-week Bible study. This short-term gathering provides an opportunity for spiritual growth, reflection and community as these women prepare for life beyond Olivet.

The study follows She Reads Truth plans, a ministry founded by Olivet alumna Raechel Myers, known for its engaging and accessible approach to Scripture through designed study books and other materials. For the next four weeks, each Thursday night, participants will dive into God’s Word, share in discussion and encourage one another in their faith journeys as they explore what it means to be citizens of the Kingdom of God as we eagerly wait for the return of King Jesus.

“There is something so powerful about a group of women coming together to intentionally study the Word of God together,” said Mrs. Chenoweth. “We want each of these girls to be inspired and encouraged to be a Woman in the Word every day when they graduate – to make this a part of their day and lives after graduation.”

The study will culminate in a special send-off event featuring Raechel Myers herself, who will co-lead a discussion with Tammy and encourage attendees to delve into round-table discussions. As these senior women prepare to step into their futures, this time of study, mentorship and fellowship will serve as a lasting foundation for their faith beyond Olivet.
