Welcome to Olivet! We can’t wait to officially welcome you into our campus community at Summer Orientation — this is our favorite part of your journey to Olivet. You don’t want to miss it!
Students will need to complete their roommate questionnaire as soon as possible if they have not already done so. Students with questions about housing should contact housing@Olivet.edu. Through the housing application and selection process students will also be able to pick a meal plan, and this is also where commuter students will complete an off-campus petition.
One of the most important parts of the Orientation process is finalizing your financial aid. It may seem like a lot to do between now and the start of fall semester, but we are with you every step of the way!
REMINDER: First payment is due August 1st for Fall semester and December 1st for Spring semester.

First Time Freshmen
First, fill out the Class Registration Form. Once you receive your student portal login from your Admissions Counselor, you can visit my.olivet.edu to check on your schedule through the “Student Academic” drop-down menu option on the left of your screen. If you have questions about your schedule or would like to make changes, email registrar@olivet.edu.
Transfer Students
Schedule a pre-registration meeting with your Transfer Counselor today! They will help you prepare your fall 2024 class schedule and officially register you for classes. After completing class registration, you will receive access to your Olivet email account and online student portal.

If you weren’t able to attend Orientation, we want you to still become oriented to what ONU is all about before your arrival in August! Hear from many helpful and fun speakers including the President, Vice Presidents, Alumni, Campus Living Staff, Financial Aid Director and more!
We suggest checking the spam folder of your email inbox first. The confirmation email was sent to whichever email you used to register for the event. If you still can’t find it, please reach out to your Admissions Counselor.
For families coming from a distance, we recommend flying into Midway International Airport in Chicago. The River Valley Metro is an affordable bus system that will transport you from Midway right to ONU’s campus. We have also had families utilize Reliable Limo to travel to campus from the airport. If your family has a financial burden that makes it difficult to travel, please let us know so we can work together to make your visit to Orientation possible.
